@babui Yes. You should read the manga, it's better than this pile of crap. (No offence to the fans but this OVA could have been much better) After that, read Amon The Darkside of Devilman which is now fully translated on the internet.

@collegeisdabomb the manga explains better, basicly when they anounced that akira was a demon the neighbourhood went there to kill him when they find out that he wasn't there they acused his familly of being demons and so they killed them instead... i think that makes sense

this makes no fucking sense. why did this crazy mob go only into the girl's house and kill her and her brother. too much of a coincidence. plust the plot is just scattered all over the place. it looks cool, but it isn't too well done.

GODDAMMIT THEY NEED TO MAKE MORE DEVILMAN ANIME. Why is it that all its mediocre spi-offs (Demon Lord Dante, Devilman Lady) have full series and all this amazing story gets is two incomplete OVA series? And, no, the 1970's Devilman anime doesn't count. Its barely got any resemblance at all to what Devilman really is. GIVE DEVILMAN A FULL SERIES!!!!!!!!!
