@cubanexile66 It was just a broken cheekbone. Dalgarno played many years after than fight. A lot of people get their cheekbones and eye sockets broken in fights. That is the second most weakest area of the face after the nose. That Kocur/Dalgarno fight was made to big a deal out of. I have read that Dalgarno suffered a broken jaw, cheekbone, concussion, and eye socket, which only he suffered a blowout fracture something that happens all the time when a person is hit under the eye.

Delgarno missed some serious time after that Kocur fight you're talking about and he had to play with a shield. He was an up and coming tough guy and really couldn't fight after that with so many broken bones.
