This show the use of DCS Black Simulator with SimMeters HUD Product, used modified *.lua files from simulator to get the hud exported on second monitor (HUD Monitor).
Hello I am very interested in getting a HUD for BS and the upcoming DCS A10. How do you ensure that the location of the targeting reticle in the HUD matches where the sim considers the targeting reticle to be? And are the LUA files that are modified ones that would normally prevent a player from joining a multiplayer session?
I'm trying to find the way to collimate the HUD within the sim (i.e. place the HUD rendering surface several meters outside the cockpit and scale accordingly)Seeing your video I thought that you could know whether that's possible or not and, if possible,what should I need to change.
This is a need for me cos I run it in stereoscopic mode, so when I look through the HUD and focus on the outside world I see HUD symbology doubled. Very annoying knowing that in real life collimation avoids that.
Question about the hardware involved in that hud... Purchased or homemade? If purchased, where, and if made, how?

You must have spent a lot of time to have HUD image bore-sighted with projected world image, or else your aim goes loose :o

This is great. I would like to see more from a view farther back not stuck in the HUD.
