Looks like to get to the ac evaporator , the whole dashboard needs to dis-assembled which is the same for the Mercedes Benz, BMW, Toyota and Mitsubishi cars that I have seen so far on YT. Why is the design so ridiculous ?

Living in florida now, I can say I will never ever buy a toyota, or any car that has an expensive evaporator core replacement. I understand that Honda has them positioned for easy replacement.
