Donny, what brand compression tester are you using?

So how hard is it to grind down the valves on those small 4-5 hp tecumseh engines? How many things do you have to take apart before you can actually get to those valves? If you ever need to do that, could you show how you do it?

The laughter wasn't meant as snide, more like "snow? What's that?"
And we PAY for the good weather (not good if you like snowmobiling of course... :) housing prices especially, and little local water (average <10"/year) so pay through the nose for that to be imported as well. Fortunately, I bought my house further back than I want to admit, so not too bad for me at present.

What gap are you looking for at TDC on those 5hp tecumseh exhaust valves Dony? I Got an Ariens ST542 I bought used for $100 bucks for snowthrowing at my rental were I go to college at up in the U.P. I've already put some new bushings and a friction wheel in it, but next spring I really would like to clean the carb, lap the valves, and put some fresh grease in the gearbox. Nice vids.
