Roland Guitar Synth Challenge - Wayne Joness - GR-300 - GR-700

Roland Guitar Synth Challenge entry by Wayne Scott Joness featuring vintage Roland Guitar Synthesizers, the GR-300, GR-700 and GM-70. These synthesizers are all controlled by a vintage Roland G-303 Guitar Synthesizer Controller. In addition to the GR-300 and GR-700, the GM-70 is used to play a Roland XV-5080 Sound Module. All Parts were played by guitar, with the exception of the drum loop programming.

Great vid! Check out the new Roland GR-55, I got one coming but it's back ordered now. It has a full 300, a VG-Bass a striped down VG-99, a basic GT-10 and two PCM synths with Rolands newest sounds via the SD. It is Awesome! I owned the GR and the VG but this is the best of all worlds...I know a guitar synth collector like yourself would appreciate that.

one request though, can you make a separate video of GR-55 controlling softsynth (or Reaktor maybe;) ) through its MIDI out ?

Wow!! You have been following the evolution of the Guitar Synth since its inception!! Amazing array of gear and you sound great on all of it! I still have a GM-70 and love the way you can program/layer up to 4 sounds in poly mode.
