[Pipe Tobacco] 01 - Smoking a Kiseru

In my study, smoking a kiseru in the traditional Japanese style. The brand of tobacco I am enjoying is Koiki. It's what Japanese called kizami---shreadded tobacco leaves into fine hairs, done very much in the traditional fashion.

It's very cosmopolitan looking, in the same vein as a cigarette holder from the 1920's.

I've flirted with the idea of getting a kiseru to add to my SCA garb, but it'd be a waste as I only smoke hookah. Not fond of tobacco.

But isn't shisha tobacco too? :D Actually, I know what you mean, pipe tobacco is much less mellow than smoking a hookah. But hey, you can always get a kiseru to use as room decoration~ :D

Just got my kiseru today and smoked it...but I couldn't roll it into a ball. The koiki started to turn into fine dust. Maybe I don't know my own strenght :) Has this ever happen to anybody?
