There is some sense in your words... after it came to my knowledge of the kind of information that my local police here in Brazil keeps on potential "subversive" individuals (read, social activists) I do not doubt that something like this could be used to persecute people in some countries.
People should join this initiative, but they shouldn't add any kind of personal information if that could put them at risk...
hey dreamer. no i am not joking. maybe i can make myself clearer:
i agree that the first instance of change is awareness. but the second should be sustainability. and as i learnt, face'book is pure superficiality. furthermore the comment of tierra below hits another important point. tyrantbook is a subjective choice of "tyrants" which is incomplete. so all in all, it is a good thing - for people, who are already trying to make a change (like you as i assume).
I hope that you're joking. Do you know all the information about them? This tool makes peole aware of what is going on in the world and being together to make pressure on the governaments for the respect of Human Rights. I'm member of Amnesty International and belive me it works.
Seriously, making up a facebook clone to create a "tyrant-zoo" where everybody is able to "watch" the bad guys on this planet (after REGISTERING with your data) is not a good idea. As the example in this video shows, the ppl who register will share their thoughts, but nobody will stop any tyrant with saying "I think he should be judged." or change his mind. The informations published can (in the worst case) even manipulate unstable people and can possibly educate henchmen FOR the tyrants.
Me da mucha pena por Amnistia, peró faltan almenos 3 Tiranos en su Libro.Que no por ser Tiranos con fecha de caducidad dejan de serlo
