This is one of my most favourite novels I've read that are based in an English background! :)

But I must say, the ending with Piggys death and that heart throbbing moment of being rescued honestly got me teary-eyed.

I had no Idea there was a movie (much less 2) I just finished reading the book and it was AMAZING.

Jack was a complete bastard, the whole time I was reading I wanted someone to shove him off a cliff

The awful thing is, as far as Ralph was concerned, Piggy's death was probably a blessing. He'd never have abandoned him & as a result, they'd both have been caught & killed :-(
