HOLY SHIT!!! Did anyone else hear what I'm hearing?! Jimi's solo is RIDICULOUS! The way he makes his guitar CRY, the SOUL and FEELING is overwhelming! Eddie's solo is just some neo-classical bullshit, so he fucking plays his guitar like a keyboard, so fucking what? Only stupid pre-teen kids think that shit is impressive. Jimi's solo is MUSIC, not bullshit wanking noise that means nothing. You hear Jimi's solo and it SAYS SOMETHING. The emotions in it are UNDENIABLE. Man this isn't even a contest

I hate how some people find the way Eddie plays guitar all "talent and skills". Not at all!!! Anyone can do that. Almost all guitarists famous or not can shred, hammer on, ect ect. yah it sounds cool and crazy but it isn't that impressive anymore. The way Jimi plays however was and always will be impressive. Now that's talent and skills.

Jimi Wins, Eruption is pretty free flowing.. Bold as Love is like jazz in the way that you gotta keep up with the chords and improvise based on chord tones.. and the changes go pretty quick. If you try to stay with it.. I can improvise something similar to eruption but i play so much jimi and i can't improvise on bold as love.. or at least not for long and actually sound good...

@EPI6fingers ? They are both very very different guitarists. Ask Jimi to play metal ( it wasn't around during hendrix's era) and a solo in x scale Eddie would do it better, ask Eddie to play blues and surreal rock, Hendrix would do it better. It depends

@ichirakudreamer Eddie didn't invent tapping its a very old technique that goes way back before van halen, country guitarists were doing it before him.He just made it mainstream.
