im sorry I know thats a better engine than the old AJP8 as I've read above, but that sounds like shit, the AJP8 sounds way better

@teamholdenracing But the title says it's Sagaris

@teamholdenracing Yep, that certainly wasn't the sound of the TVR-designed engine......

but why would you replace that AMAZING 4.0 Liter straight six with some horrible crude OVERSIZED american hundred and thirteen liters V8 producing an AMAZING 132.54 HP?!? Which also weighs a lot more and upsets the handling

The car is built on a modified Tuscan Challenge chassis, which has always been fitted with V8s - first Rover then TVRs AJP8 . This car first raced with the latter - a great engine but best suited to sprint racing, especially with spares now becoming scare. The LS3 is all alloy, weighs less than the AJP6, is further back and lower in the chassis, produces over 500bhp reliably, and does 65 hours between rebuilds. To coin one of your phrases - there is the f*ing logic

@teamholdenracing And the AJP8 has 4.2L or 4.5L the author of this video says it's a 5.7L and it's a chevy engine so it's BIG and HEAVY

I am the author of the video, and I built the car, but if you say so....
You might care to Google Chevrolet LS series engines. Considerably different from the old iron block Chevy engines with carbs. And in the initial videos the car was fitted with a 5.7 LS6, the later videos a 6.2 LS3. Both with dry sumps. So if it helps, just Google Chevy LS3.
