  • Uh - if the album's called Talk on Corners and this track is called Queen of Hollywood, how can it be the title track?

  • She sings about it:) ...She left her mother in a fight

    For a dream misunderstood

And her friends they "talk on corners"...

  • There is NO video clip for QOH as it was never released as a single.

  • To reply to sammykiedis; the guitar solo was not an original part of the song so it was NOT cut out of the original TOC recording. It only came into being in the later part of the TOC tour when regular lead guitarist Anto Drennan returned after touring with Genesis. It was at this stage that the Corrs in general became a "braver & better" live act & moved away from playing "as per the recorded version".

Right that this is a great song & the guitar solo saw it become a permanent on the set-list

  • is there a video on their recording of their talk on corners album? this was the 2nd album next from forgiven not forgotten.

  • I love the guitar solo, shame they cut that out on the the actual recording of the track in Talk On Corners, but still an excellent song, none the less :)

  • i love the lyrics!!!! so touching!!

  • i love this son is my favorite from, TALK ON CORNERS SPECIAL EDITION album

  • this show was recorded late 2001 (December I think)

  • i mean the bbc radio 2

  • QOH was never released as a single. It was an album cut from Talk On Corners (97) and then recorded acoustically on Unplugged (99).

The concert/live arrangement you see in this clip (with the guitar solo) dates back to 99 and became its "definitive" setting. Sadly, it was never recorded.

  • when did they recorded this?
