I LOVE THE VIDEO I LIVE IN CLEVLAND OHIO
-
is a bad weater
-
I love how quiet the Mad Dogs are upp front, but I also love a good JT8D, the humming of a low bypass sounds really nice on takeoff.
-
It's so noisy because it has Low-Bypass Engines

@Cook1993 Pressurization is not automatic in the MD-80 Family, or DC-9 family. Or MD-90 Family.
-
can never go wrong with a md =] nice video!
-
i get you point, but its really entertainent to hear those engines roar, and watching trought the window :D to see the flaps and the wing ;D
-
the only got them on the MD90s
and theres only a few of them
my ears popped like fuck so many times on that plane whats up with that??? many times my ears were popped so bad i could barely hear anyone talk to me...

That depends...could be the way the pilots varied pressurization during flight, especially during descent.
My ears used to pop quite often in the past, but now I'm either used to it or the pressurization changes are so gradual that it doesn't affect me. Not sure in your case.

i flew on one of these with delta from pittsburgh to atlanta and hopped on another to go from atlanta to west palm beach florida. the engines are loud from inside the plane as you can tell their in the back. or at least mine were in the back

Yes, my seat here was just 3 or 4 from the back. I deliberately chose it for the noise! -)

dislike the md 88 so much... Its noisy as hell and the inventure is realy badly made out typically in a md 88. you can see it a quite old plane..

Though some may be kinda old, there are lots MD-80s from the mid-90s (and some of Delta's MD-90s are from the late 90s). The noise is because it's rear-mounted rather than wing mounted.
Personal taste, but I don't mind the "noise."
