This is a video that I made for my brothers about our great grandfather. I have searched for over 15 years for information about him... but kept hitting a wall. Finally, bits and pieces of information started to come together, with the help from a long lost cousin (from Italy), and then information seemed easy to find. It is funny how, when I was younger my mother would show me pictures of my ancestors that to me seemed like hillbillies. In fact, one lady, my great, great grandmother, was the spiting image of Granny on the Beverly Hillbillies. But, after getting to know then through research, I have come to know that they were anything buy hillbillies, but instead, hard working people who actually had lives of their own. That is hard to understand when you are just looking at a picture.
So, I wanted to bring one of our ancestors off of the pedigree chart and pictures... and try to bring him a little more to life. And, that is why I made this video. I've shared it with a few friends who suggested that I put it up on YouTube too. so... here it is. I hope that you enjoy it and that it might get you excited to dig into your past and learn about your ancestors too. Thanks for watching.

Very well done. It's not easy trying to find the history and past lives of our ancestors. I've only heard snippets of information from Grandparents, parents and an aunt. Now they are all gone too. There's something about a completed story of life that really touches ones heart and gives their life meaning.
