The J.G. Quintet are Jaume Gispert - Piano, Patricia Herrero - trumpet/flugelhorn, Tobias Klein - Alto saxophone/clarinet, Francois Chanut - bass and Bernt Nellen - Drums. Alban Low is an artist living and working in London.
This track is from Jaume's 2003 album 'lift off', and was recorded in Girona, Spain. Musical production from Francesc Ubanell and Jaume. Engineered by Tony Paris, assistant engineer Carles Xirgo.

I was given this album by the self styled Prince of Darkness Xavier Grau-Meyer in 2004. Who promptly disappeared. Get in touch.
Earlier this year I got in contact with Jaume to see if we could create this animation with his music. I have taken quite a ribbing for choosing biscuits as my source but those variety packs give me so much pleasure. 'Fox's Favourites' if you're curious.

Jaume is recording a new album at the end of October 2010 and we're all hoping he'll venture over to these shores in 2011. He currently teaches at the Taller de Musics in Barcelona
