sounds like a rod knock, my 350 had that exact sound when I spun a #2 bearing, good luck!

Reminds me of my old camaro. Sometimes rings take awhile to seat and sadly sometimes they never seat and you have to redo the crosshatch and put new rings in.

sounds like a collapsed lifter... or a blocked oil galley not allowing the lifters to pressurize that sucks, good lookin motor though
