Rev Wright is being taken out of context in most of the media exposure he has gotten (Thats what happens with sensationalist media). If you listen to the entire speech where he says God damn America for example you will see that he says sometimes Governments do good and sometimes they do wrong. He was saying Goddamn America in response to what he views as unfair treatment of blacks. His views are skewed to make him look like a monster.

I'm sure had the Vietnamese said they weren't going to fight fire with fire,then the known end results of the war would've been diff.today. Had the allies say,OK,let's have peaceful talks with the Nazis,JEWS in Germany wouldn't have descendents in that country today.My point is,sometimes,& it has been preoven time & time again throughout history,that fithing fire with fire,bring the ultimate peace.& cowardness which had been the adopted behavior of many Blacks is asking for more aggressions.

as to why Obama actually won the black vote. Maybe its because he is a democrat and addressed issues that pertained more to blacks as a group? How did black republicans fair with the black vote? not to good right? but they are black.

Considering black people only make up 8-10% of the population, your question is easily solved by looking at the numbers (in absolute terms) and having simple grasp of US history. I'm trying to remember what Southern States Obama won. Maybe you can help me out there. Hmmm....and if I take a gander at the number of blacks who voted for Clinton, well looky there, it seems to be almost the same percentage as Obama..but he's white. So there seems to be other factors which you seem to not have grasped
