I had to come to the conclusion that instrument for instrument voice for voice The New Birth was my favorite group in the 70's wwith Leslie Wilson's crooning and Londie Wiggins holding it down with that Soprano of her's on all the gems they put out what a combination of power and grace although they had members from all over their base was in Louisville Ky. and I think they went to Seneca High School.... I think of Barbara Carruth whenever I hear them. Dayton Ohio and Home ave....
