I set this marine tank up for Practical Fishkeeping magazine. It contains four Bangaii Cardinalfish, courtesy of Wildwoods Ltd. There is no protein skimmer and the nutrients are dealt with via the 20Kg of live rocks and macroalgae growth. It was my first attempt at a marine aquarium.

  • Beautiful landscaping and nice lighting, too. Hope you'll do more vids - even a stationary shot with nice music would be awesome. Thanks for sharing!

  • Damn it awesome tank, wish my tank looks like that :/

  • Absolute perfection

  • what sort of light you are using? did you manage to get T5 for your Roma 125?

  • Very,very nice fish tank!Congratulation friend!

  • its magical. i never thought a marine aquarium could look good without corals but this is just fascinating. i never wanted to spend money an corals because they cost a lot but now that i know that a tank can still look nice without corals i am excited and cant wait for my first saltwater tank.

  • This is a great and balanced setup. I am curious what your % of algae VS live rock and fish is? What algae filter the best in your opinion? I'd like to replicate this style, Skimmers are loud and a pain...

  • Very nice I would like to be kept updated. :)

  • about how many gallons is it? looks great by the way

  • Very nice aquascaping.
