Quick video showing the Osaze Treeless Western Saddle demo, First put on a Cob and then an Arab, It explains to you the rigging position which is behind the swells to eliminate any pull on the horses wither area when cinched up, as whilst it is a firm saddle, it is still a treeless saddle and the stirrup position which is much easier to ride in if you are doing a lot of distance and ideal for posting trot as it puts your feet right under your hip for ease & comfort.

  • The positioning of the front rigging is in a traditional position, it is called centre fire and is used very often in rigging a western saddle. However, the reason I have put it further back is because there are no bars to the saddle, it will flex slightly at that point, as it is to all intents & purposes treeless and therefore if you put the rigging in the 3/4 -7/8 position it will flex the swells into the back of the scapula but placing it further back, there is no pull on the swells at all.

  • I can use one of these... can you contact me,please...also do you have an English version for hackking about? This seems to go the same direction as bitless bridling, of which I am a proponent. There are times, however, when I would like something a bit more substantial than a bareback pad, as I am beginning that stage in my life when bareback is just,....well...not as secure as it once was, although I shun even the pad. For the sake of the horse, this seems better all around..

  • I see a big problem with the position of where you have got your front rigging dee. I would be duplicating traditional rigging positions.
