@Greeny1hit1the1sign come on dude, don't steal cactuses from the wild. what you do is take a smaller growth from it (a "pup") and then plant that. it's okay, to me, to snag a little one from an inopportune place (I have an aloe vera I found growing near a larger one, but under the edge of a rock and a tree, where it was not receiving much water or light. It now thrives in my window. I wouldn't have taken the mother plant, though- or else no more can grow. Where do you think they COME FROM

saguaros are much cooler than those other cactuses, with the flat stems. I hate those, thats the only cactus that grows naturally over here in west texas

This cactus is located in the garden of Carefree hotel/ resort in Carefree, Scottsdale AZ.

I agree. They are true symbols of the desert. I would love to see it in bloom and watch the long-nosed bat use the blossums.
