A video of Japanese Quail hatching, in my home made incubator.
It cost around £50, 1st planned it all out, made the actual incubator case from wood made the mesh platform and bought a thermostat off ebay - wired it up with 2 heat halogen lamps :) The thermostat needed a bit of calibrating but was worth it.

  • @cheezman22production Yes :)

A light shone into the egg will show shadows of the developing chick, and blood vessels on the shell 8)

  • when you say torch u mean flashlight right? im assumeing u are in england if thats what you mean

  • @gerjanplate You'll need a candling torch - shine a torch into the eggs in the dark and you'll see veins on the inside and a developing chick = fertile :)
