@mdfouru Ya, 35% is nothing. If I had 35% more income, i probably wouldn't even notice (sarcasm)...
And, productivity doesn't "go" to anyone.... Making up random bullshit does not help ur case...
Ya, Social Democratic, Big governemtn Economics worked so well in European Economies that have been economically stagnant for the past three decades...
@aaasssfffdddiii A 35% increase in median income is paltry. It might even be going backwards. Over the same time, productivity rose 30% and 80% of it went to the top 5% of Americans. If the gains in the country's wealth hadn't been hoarded by the top, the income increase would have been much larger, demand would have been sustained and the economy would be better off for everyone. The personal income of the top 2% has increased over 400% in the last 30 yrs. Median doesn't tell the whole story.
@euclon Interesting, you cut off the fact that REAL personal median income grew by 35%. Do you know what that means?
Real means adjusted for inflation....
That means, after adjusting for inflation, median personal income grew by 35% from 1981 to 2009. And, of course, there is strong evidence that the CPI is overstating inflation...
Please, don't try to rebut things that you have no idea about and it isn't that hard to check the census website to verify....
