are you seriously questioning the rationale behind having the police in riot gear ready for action?? Umm excuse me but all it takes is one nutcase with a bomb strapped to their back hidden somewhere to get into the area and mass destruction can happen, and gee, who better to pose as? A protestor!! I say yay to the police for protecting our leaders and our beautiful city ~ nobody wanted violence or destruction and they kept it from happening

Kristen15144 I understand your irrational fear of people strapping bombs to themselves and taking out our beloved world elite (Kings and Queens). Perhaps you should have some of these stormtroopers stationed at the foot of your bed as you sleep. Are you familiar with the first amendment?
