As odious an individual as Bill is, you have to admit that he's right about the lack of citations and references. If Hitchens was serious in his commitment to factuality and the truth, he should have walked the walk as much as he talked the talk. Bill is also absolutely right that any document asserting facts without references would get an F at even the undergraduate level. In fact, the student would likely be punished for plagiarism.

I honestly don not see how a Christian can sit on national television and say the only people that don't ahve doubts are 'dogmatic atheists'. Well, for a start that is the most hypocritical statement for any devout christian to put forward when their own teachings are nothing but dogma, and secondly, athiests are not dogmatic in their pursuit of enlightenment, rather, they have the ability to rationalise the irrational this is apparantly why atheism is dogmatic. How can a rational man say that?
