I love the Constantines and was never a big Tool fan. That being said, I was there in 2009 and Tool was really, really strong. Animal Collective was still dicking around when 8:30 arrived, and Tool fired up and just blew them away from across the field.

i first found out about these guys while seeing them open for the weakerthans.. since that night over a year ago they have been one of my favorite bands for sure

i dont think the weakerthans deserve to be put down. theres not a person in the world that can write as well as john k samson.

Heh, the Weakerthan's aren't that great either you know. It's all relative. If you want rock and roll, go for the Constantines. If you want math-rock-pop, go with Weakerthans.
And I've got to say, their name implies that they're weaker than pretty much any band you compare them too. HA!
