  • @HuxleyWasRight There's another version where he plays a guitar solo and then sings the last verse again.

  • Just sang it to my son, moments ago. I love this song. The end gives me chills every time.

  • @rbeagle99 My son is 6 and he loves it.

  • one problem with this song, it's not long enough! :-D

  • I saw him only once live in 1987 in New Hampshire. After the show, me and my buddy saw him entering his limo. My brother in law buddy Barry was brave enough to yell Roy and he stopped outside the car. I was too scared, but Barry said this man loves you-how about an autograph. I still have it in my man-cave 25 years later. Roy's voice is not just for Rock and Roll. It is for the ages.

  • Well I'm 16 and I really love this kind of music (:

  • Classic Roy, never seen him in concert.

But The Black Night Out video smoked.

What a line of all stars.

  • Saw him in Austin, Texas in a small venue in 1984. He performed Running Scared twice at the end of the show, just to hit that last high note.

One of the few music concerts I have ever seen that brought me to tears, because you knew that you were hearing something unique - a treasure.

  • @jenlei14 He could change his name to roy operason [ they would like tght in the grand old oprey] 1:46
