"Mr. Brownstone " é uma canção escrita pelo banda americana de hard rock Guns N 'Roses. Ela aparece no álbum de 1987 Appetite for Destruction. Slash diz que a canção foi escrita por ele enquanto eles entavam no apartamento de sua namorada Izzy Desi. Ele afirma que eles estavam sentados, reclamando a ser viciados em heroína, quando começaram a improvisar letra e música ("Brownstone" é uma gíria para heroína). A letra faz uma clara referência à tolerância que a droga causa no verso que diz:. "Eu costumava fazer um pouco, mas um pouco não faria, então o pouco virou mais e mais eu continuo a tentar obter um pouco melhor, disse um pouco melhor do que antes ". Quando eles tinham as letras todos juntos, eles escreveram para baixo na parte traseira de um saco de supermercado e trouxe-a para Axl. Slash disse que a letra descreve um dia típico na vida de Slash e Izzy. Ele também afirma que foi a primeira música que a banda escreveu depois de ter sido assinado pela Geffen Records.

Slash said the lyrics describe a typical day in the life of Slash and Izzy. He also states that it was the first song the band wrote after being signed by Geffen Records.

O Guns N´ Roses na época em q o Slash tocava era a melhor banda do mundo!! na minha opinião era melhor até q os Beatles...porém os Beatles acabou-se antes de firmar o Guns com Axl, Slash,Duff e tudo mais
