Thats most likely because those schools have a load of t-shirt fans. you know how many people suddenly became "Texas fans" whenever they won the title a few years back? You cant go into a walmart without seeing a texas or a&m shirt. I wouldn't consider myself classless or an "ignorant idiot" and yet I go to Tech. Way to throw everyone into one pot. Thats ignorant.
