BISMARCK, N.D. Gov. John Hoeven Monday (March 15,2010) met with officials from Wahpeton, Jamestown and surrounding communities regarding flood fighting efforts over the next few weeks. Hoeven coordinated with Jamestown city and Stutsman County officials at City Hall. The Governor was joined by North Dakota National Guard, General David Sprynczynatyk. Governor Hoeven told city and county officials that the State stand ready to coordinate efforts between local officials and the state, National Guard and other agencies. The Governor Heard from Emergency Services Manager Jerry Berquist and Jamestown City Engineer Reed Schwartzkopf, who had been meeting Monday with Corps of Engineers officials.
