This video was made for the Food Network / Lea & Perrins Shine At Dinnertime Challenge.
The requirements were: Come up with an original recipe featuring Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce, show how to make it by creating a cooking show style video of less than 4 minutes, and feature your unique style and personality.
There were 101 videos entered into the contest. Out of those, the judges selected 6 finalists, however our video was not selected as a finalist.
The final 6 were voted upon by the public through the Food Network website, however there was extensive cheating in the voting process and it appears that no single entry was declared the grand prize winner.
Either way, according to the contest website, making the final 6 earned you a prize of $1000, while the grand prize winner of the contest would get $10000 and a trip to NYC to meet Food Network Chef Claire Robinson.
