yankeeclipper2. Its the ever-popular Winchester 1873 model. Like the earlier Henry rifles and 1866 models, Burt's rifle is identified by the rounded extension on its underside which houses the finger lever screw. These extensions disappeared when the 1890s models arrived, giving them a slimmer shape (like the 1892 and 1894 models).

The BULLITT Winchester shotgun was a 1912 model (easily identified by the exposed hammer). There are two versions of this shooting sequence. When Burt shoots the guy a second time and kills him, the rear view shows blood spurting from his exit wound but in this other version, we see no blood. Even though its been criticised for having around 64 zooms, Lawman is a fine, yet very under rated western. Burt is impressive. So is the music. Many good sequences in it. I've always like it.
