http://tiffanyrowan.com/essentialoils I like making my Young Living essential oils last longer by applying them one use at a time instead of blending them or diluting them in bigger bottles. This way, I only use what I need, and secondly, they don't go rancid before I need them again. A nickle size amount of pure vegetable oil is roughly the equivalent of 1 teaspoon of carrier oil. Add one drop of essential oil for babies and add 2-3 drops for the elderly. Massage it into their backs over the lung area, or smooth it into the bottoms of the feet where the reflex points will deliver the oils to the rest of the body. Diluting essential oils slows down the rate of absorption for babies and the elderly, and it makes a little bit of oil go a long way.
