We visited Mamu Rainforest Canopy Walkway. It`s a beautiful place to visit. It has the Canopy as high as 37m above the ground from where you can have beautiful breathtaking view of rainforest. Just beautiful.

Hi there, I'm visiting Cairns for a few days in July.
I was just wondering if you can do this trip without paying a tour? I haven't done too much research but everything I find is offering tours. Can you just go on the walkway when you get there?

Yes you can do the tour by yourself instead of joining any tour group. You need to buy the ticket at the point of entrance from ‘Mamu Rainforest Authority’.
