@misterolichip Java needs to be converted to the byte code then during the execution there is something called just-in-time compilation which converts the byte code into a native code (machine code) and do some final tests, while pl like C++ is being compiled to a machine code the run instantly, the advantage that byte code gives you is that if you don't own a Mac or a Linux you can compile your code Java on windows and run it on other OSs which makes it slower if you got what I mean.
