  • Good review. I was disappointed they didn't make the canopy removable with magnets since I want to add lights for low light flying. Is the center of gravity measured on the top wing?

  • @Antifraud I fly mine on a 3s 1300mah lipo in the front compartment and the cg is good. I measured mine on the top wing. It is almost in the middle of the top wing.

  • Did ya notice that when Hobby King cloned this one from AT they got the R/H Tail Wording screwed-up? On the R/H side of the V-Stab&Rudder you'll see that "Pitts" is Flipped-Over.

  • @FlightlessRock yeah. I thought that was funny. At least that is the only spot on the plane with writing.

  • Great review..TIm

  • So how do you get parts when you crash it? This is the main problem buying from HK.

  • @casedog21 thanks for the comment and the tips! About a month ago I put a 10x8 on mine and it made it a whole new airplane. I have also adjusted all of my flight controls to max throws and still have a hard time getting mine to do good knife edge flight. Seems to have too much coupling. This is still one if my favorite planes to fly though! Happy flying and thanks again!

  • I propped up to a 10x7 on mine and it turns it into a very fun airplane. It definately lacks power with the 10x4.7 prop for bigger stunts. I am running a gens ace 1550 lipo in mine and it fits perfectly and I get about 11 minutes on the 10x7 prop. Close to 13 with 10x4.7. I like the removable canopy. I think I will do that on mine. I need to adjust the servers so I have some more contol surface through. Not enough currently for knife edges and not enough for a high angle harrier.

  • @RxRobbo Thanks!
