You yanks just dont get it do ya!!!! Your only in IRAQ for the oil, and your only in afghanistan, like the russians before ya, for the opium.Same reason u where in VIETNAM......DRUGS......it wasnt for communism. Agent orange was a tested weed killer....for opium poppys...thats why the french where there for nearly a 100 years before ya.....its sure wasnt for pleasant jungle weather....or communism.

We need to bring our lads home. I am afraid their sacrifices may be in vain. This is a long war of attrition, a guerilla war on the enemy's turf--the worst kind of war for soldiers.The Taliban can wait. I am not sure this is how to fight the bastards. Look at the faces of these young men. They are, each one, some mother's son. It freaks me out. I want them home. We need to bring them home to the True North where they belong. And it's past time we thought about fighting the Taliban on OUR terms.
