@chochmah How come the Zugspitze ultra is cheaper than Brocken? Why is that? Zugspitze is so far away that the transportation costs will make up for the entrance fee. I live in Berlin so you do the math =) But if you ask me which race is better, clearly Zugspitze is better because the mountain is higher and I like mountains.

@FourSeasonRunner Berlin 2:30 ? WAY out of my league. My best (and only) Marathon (600hm) was 2:59. The Brockenthing is to expensive for me either way and I don't have a TV and wont spend the money on brothels, just don't have the money. I'll probably try the Zugspitz Ultra-Marathon instead, might be somthing for you too if you like trails&mountains.

@chochmah My goal for the next year is Berlin 2:30 and sub 3:00 Brocken Marathon, this year my Brocken time was 3:10. This Brocken challenge is good and I will definitely run it one day. Others spend 200 Euros on brothels or a new TV or IDK what, spending money on this race is a better idea IMO.
