Watching The Detectives - Elvis Costello & The Imposters - Gramercy Theater - 4/1/11

A fabulous set from the master of music, Elvis Costello. Hot off from appearances before Amos Lee at Irving Plaza and joining the Strokes on stage at MSG, he made his final April Fool's performance at the intimate Gramercy Theatre - reminiscent of his three venue hop on April Fool's back in 1979. Joined on stage with Elvis is fabulous backing band, the Imposters, featuring Steve Nieve on keyboards and piano, Davey Faragher on bass, and Pete Thomas on drums.

While I have recorded this live peformance, my videos are purely for recreation, nostalgia, archival reasons (as with rarities), and a hobby of video shooting. I make no claims of ownership nor profit from these, as these are bands I love and I want great peformances saved.
