I learned to canter in 2 lesson's??? Sooooo, but all of you PROBABLY ride english but i ride western, but sum english wen i jump my pony she can about jump 3ft

i've seen some of ur other video's and i can't believe how u've progressed so much! :)
i find it kind of hard to get the canter in my riding lessons sometimes. whats ur technique? or any tips? :D

@WinterRider8 try using your inside leg at the girth really hard and then ask with your outside leg. Keep contact with your horses mouth but make sure you have an "elastic"/following arm. And keep doing your no stirrup work!! Everyone can always use more strength :)

This is really good for your 5th lesson.... and your cantering already... im have had like 12 lessons and i cant grasp the cantering... i cant scoop the saddle like u do. and now i have went to 2 shows and did good, but can u tell me how your trainer told u how to ride at the canter... mabey advise from someone else would help... but you look amazing :)

haha thanks, but this was more than my 5th lesson. lol. I had been riding for about a month and a half, and I had done a riding camp in that time too. :)
Cantering... try to think about your butt being connected in the saddle. try to just follow the motion, and relax. if you try to force it, you'll have trouble. i had some trouble with cantering when i first started too, it's just something you have to do over and over until you get the feel for it. hope that helps!!
