Does Any one know what would be the newst QR25DE engine that would go in to a 2002 Sentra SE-R with 5 speed manual trans.

are there any good motors to replace the vq25de? I broke a piston rod and need a new motor

@DragonRoLo try the sr20ve. get a set of sr16ve n1cams and maybe some stiffer valve springs. much stronger setup.

do you happen to remember how much the motor cost and where you bought it. because i blew my block on my 02 spec v, and i need some help locating a new motor.

@Natanizer77 Yes he should have My 2003 Sentra ser spec v is on its 3rd motor and I just found out its rings are blown motor only has 20,000km and I only added 3,000km since I replaced the second motor Nissan and Gallary of fine cars Calgary can go to hell. Car should have come with the V35 in the first place

The reason the motors blow is because the cats are shit. There too close to the motor and when they break down the materials get sucked back into the cylinders and score the walls causing engine failure

I have a 2000 Nissan sentra se with a speck v motor like yours. it's all stock and has 198 hp and got it up to 156mph. it's a nice tight car for street racing. do you know a guy named andrayes?

Why do these cars blow there motors I have a 2003 spec v on its 3rd and if I dont end up selling it and the motor goes again I wont be throwing in another pos engine other then the vq35de what other engine swaps are available?

If it took you 7.5 hours to do that I dont wanna know how long it took you to put it back in. I swapped my 2.5 for the newer 3.5 altima 3.5 with some mods to the frame and wheel wells and it took me about 10 hours to take it out do tha work and put the new motor in... then a yr and 15 grand later it got stolen
