  • @Paudyis Thanks! I'll focus more on slowing down, looks like it's time for me to open my ears up more to what's going on, since i don't have to think so much about hitting the notes, but putting that thought into making them sound the way the should :)

  • I think you're doing pretty well, personally. One advice I can give you that my teacher gave me (which I forget to follow myself sometimes) is to move you fiddle up a bit and raise your left elbow so the fiddle is more up in front of you and you're sitting up straight. You're quite hunched over it and it looks like it's sitting too low on your chest. I'd also echo Paudy's comment. You're doing pretty good at this speed but you can work on your tone and swing if you slow down a bit.

  • fair play for recording these. The advice of slowing the tune down significantly is horribly repetitive and annoys me no end but there's a lot you can do with the flow of a tune by playing it slower and thinking about moving from one note to another, whether to play a roll on one note, etc. Keep it coming anyway!
