This video is a few pieces from the Phantom of the Opera being played on the mighty wurlitzer of organ stop pizza in Mesa AZ. Taken on the night of Jun 15, 2007. Sorry for the somewhat random shouting out of kids in the background, but you know it IS a family restaurant ;) Eh I know less than ideal sound and image quality but you'll just have to bear with it until I get a new camera. I liked this "segment" particularly, even considering he had already played this once before the same night. (And yes you can't see anything the first part, that's because he had the lights turned down to get the full strobe effect)
(Note: This is organist Lew Williams playing, his bio and others can be found at http://www.organstoppizza.com/staff.htm )

Mmm... over 100,000 views. Thanks everybody! Be sure to check out Organ Stop Pizza if you live even remotely close to Arizona! I'm going to try to get back and record some 720p HD video with my iPod before Christmas... stay tuned!

  • @Christianmusicjunki1 the pizza and pipes in tacoma, wa burned down in 1999. i remember going there after going to zoo lights and getting lost for about an hour

  • I've watched Lew play this piece countless times, Charlie as well. I've been a semi regular at Organ Stop over the last 5 years since my mom took me as a toddler in the 80's. I've had both my kids in there and they loved every minute. Being less than 2 hours away, I make it a point to go here at least 10 times a year. If you have never been here, it is well worth the trip!!!

  • what are the chords for the up and down part?

  • Why does everyone rush the opening riff? Half the live recordings of this song, people hammer out those five notes supper fast.

  • @veritablevirgo yeah or that

  • @AJHcorolla Right? Or maybe some parents need to learn to shut their kids up.

  • They need one of those in every wal-mart.

  • There is a reason I do not like little kids.

  • fucking black mesa

  • this used to freak me out so much... but it is amazing
