is it that hard to wash your hands before you put the makeup on? i never use makeup sponges to apply makeup and i have never had a problem with break outs. and yes its a huge waste. if all the women or men in the world who wear makeup used makeup sponges it would be a huge injustice to the planet.

I am a makeup artist, and while I am all for good things for the planet and face, I have to say: THIS IS NONSENSE. Your face looks ridiculous AND that "mask" or whatever you were going for will not stay on! DIY is good, but let's not get retarded..

all i have to say is....halloween.

i don't know who doesn't look "ridiculous" with green makeup on their face. it was an experiment, not my recipe, i was trying it out for the first time. geez, take a chill pill. thats why i asked people to post their own recipes in the comments. lets not get all judgmental. halloween is supposed to be fun not all serious and shiznit.

You can always set it with a green mineral powder. About the make up sponges, it is her choice whether she wants to use it or not. And when you think about all the sponges and qui-tips used, it is a lot of stuff getting thrown out so I understand what she's getting at.
