My first 3D animation short, done in 2000 using trueSpace4. I was 16 and didn't know too much about intelligent scripts :) And the catapult coming over the hill happened right after I saw the Warcraft 3 cutscenes, there's something identical there.
I worked all day on this movie, and let the computer render during the night. I was spending every second of my life in front of the computer back then so I think it took me just a few weeks. The only hold-up was the very slow rendering because of swapping. I had so little RAM, or else I would have done it quicker :)
Me and my bro's computer was an AMD K6-2 @450 MHz with 32 MB RAM and a 16 MB nVidia TNT Vanta, probably running Windows 98. Man... the memories...

WOW! I would be proud to have made that on my 3.1GHZ quad core machine, to do that on a machine with less that 1GHZ is totally amazing!

@ImperialProductions I did have the TNT 2 Vanta video card but the rendering is done 100% in software (on the CPU). The video card helps only in the production phase.
