This was a take-off from the world's busiest airport on a Delta MD-88 aircraft to D.C. This was recorded on June 3rd, 2011 just before midnight.

  • nice! I hate this airport though because its crowded inside and the taxi lines are really long

  • @wwejeffhardy619TV Thanks. I noticed it taking 30-45 minutes between getting off the plane and eventually driving away from the airport too, or visa versa.

  • @unclecoolie this is an md-88. type in the search bar: delta md-90 take off and you will hear the sound of it and then you will know that you took an md-88. I am a very good expert at airliners

  • That is definitely the MD-80 JT8D-217/219 signature sound.

  • nice, where you off to?

  • @unclecoolie Understood! However the MD-90 and 80 are pretty much the same aircraft.... But the engines are different... Those engines don't sound like IAE V2528 engines. They sound like the PW JT8D engines. Which power Delta's MD-80's

  • Thats not a MD-90, it's an MD-80.

  • @unclecoolie oh wow. i've never actually stayed in Atlanta before, just make layovers there all the time.
