When Chelsea Banton was born five weeks prematurely, doctors predicted she had 36 hours to live. Prayer has helped sustain the whole family.

We had been praying every day, my oldest daughter and I and Chelsea, Colleen Banton, the mother of Chelsea said. Praying for a miracle.
On the afternoon of Nov. 5, a nurse practitioner called Colleen's attention to a monitor showing the door to the pediatric intensive care unit.

On the monitor, there was this bright light, Colleen recalls. And I looked at it and I said, Oh my goodness! It looks like an angel!

Colleen pointed her digital camera at the monitor to take a photo of the image, but the first picture wouldn't take.

She tried again and succeeded. The image gave her a peace that stayed with her when hospital staff removed Chelsea's oxygen mask.

And then, when they took the mask off of her, her stats went as high as they've ever been.

Her color was good, and the doctors and nurses were amazed, Colleen said. The nurse practitioner who saw the image in the monitor said, I've worked here 15 years, and I've never seen anything like it.'

Chelsea was removed from intensive care on Nov. 14 and went home three days later.

  • Angels do exist, despite the proof people want before they will be willing to believe.

Im happy that the child got better, which proves how awesome the lord is.

  • Have you ever been in this hospital or visited that floor? I worked there as pharm tech for 3 years. What I ( & anyone else working on that shift) it was described to us as a self-emanating light located in the hallway. If it were some kind of light malfunction, someone else would have noted it before ( & called maintenance). Those lights stay on 24/7, Sounds to me like someone is scared bc they can't explain the situation. Things happen everyday that cannot be explained- get over it.

  • Thank you my lord for sending r merciful angel to this young girls survivor on this condition of horror thank u lord @ Jesus @ ur angels a men. :)

  • this proves my theory that God and angels and other beings of this nature, not only clearly exist but that there are energy based beings which emit infrared light (light which cannot be seen by the bare human eye..

  • God bless you Chelsea

  • That story is touching..

  • GODwill

  • Things happen that CANNOT be explained. The floors in the whole buidling have the same reflectivity, so then why haven't they spotted "angels" all over the hospital then??? Why is this something that we haven't seen anyplace else? Because hospitals are all basically built the same way all over. Think about it, and people are entitled to have their own thoughts, feelings or opinions. You're entitled to yours I am sure. Faith can be a grand thing! God is AWESOME!!!!

  • Some people are very naive! Believing a reflection of light on the wall is an angel.

Make no mistake, it is very nice the kid survived, but that is NO proof of angels!

Funny how so many agrees it is an angel, when it's such a clear reflection, no more!

  • "Bright bands of light only visible on the video moniter" So nobody saw it in real life? That makes me believe it was a reflection, I thought it appeared right before the nurses very eyes!
