In this Kubrick movie (1968) there is a battle between the space ship computer and the astronauts. Here Dave is turning-off the "rebellion" machine. I only have this French audio version. Someone have the English audio?

  • I do speak some French, and let me tell you, it's way creepier en francais... He says "I'm scared" about 500 times. Plus, English Hal is not sexy -- French Hal's voice is. Weird...!

  • Really, Jeanne. These French are " hot ". . . The voice of HAL in French is really sexy. . . he he

  • I love this scene.

Unhappily I only get this with french audio.

Do you know it in english on the net?

    Thank you Spin.

What an eloquent and sagacious reply.

You're grasp of English is tenuous at best, isn't it?

  • @QuietReckoning No, just you stupid fucking American rednecks.

  • I speak a bit French and I think in French this scene is almost as disturbing as in English.

  • me:SHUT UP HAL! *smashes his red light lite*

  • Very powerful & emotional sceen of the movie I think , when I was at the theatre's seeing this I was starting to tear up a bit here 4 HAL

  • uhhh... :S english version is much better... :S i know its hard to translate but the important thing is the contrast between the voice without feelings and the words full of feelings...
