My aunt gets her earwax removed using a hollistic treatment involving fire, oxygen, matches, scissors, and a very, very long wax candle. The candle is inserted in the ear and using the power of physics the earwax is removed. This is scientifically proven to work every time. This treatment can be used for any age.
Disclaimer: Children under the age of 8 should not be allowed to use matches since they come with the risk of creating forest fires.

  • before you go and try this, search for "ear candle fraud scam" on Google, and read the truth about this scam!!! This is just a big HOAX everyone!

  • Try this simple experiment:

Take two "ear" candles. Light one in someone's ear and the other one on a table by itself. Compare the two when they're done burning.

Spoiler: They're identical! Because they don't actually do anything to the person's ear!

  • From Wikipedia: Ear candling, also called ear coning or thermal-auricular therapy, is an alternative medicine practice claimed to improve general health and well-being by lighting one end of a hollow candle and placing the other end in the ear canal. According to medical researchers, it is both dangerous and ineffective.[2] Claims that the practice removes earwax are not supported by any evidence.

  • FDA has found no valid scientific evidence to support the safety or effectiveness of these devices for any medical claims or benefits. FDA has received reports of burns, perforated eardrums and blockage of the ear canal which required outpatient surgery from the use of ear candles.

I'm surprised people still aren't using leeches to cure the common cold honestly...

  • The only thing that is good about this video is the wood floors.

  • @jm2trash Tried it, eh? How about the videos of one in the ear and another in a bottle, and BOTH having the same exact amount and color of residue?

  • thanks for the tip! i will be sure to try this next time i have swimmer's ear! thanks!

  • For the truth about ear candles!

It is not supported by science!

  • the guy in the blue tshirt looks like the principal off of sabrina the teenage witch.. blast from the past!!!!

  • Actually is does use physics properties. Fire requires air, and when a cylinder is lit, fire draw air from all around. The air drawn from the ear creates a slight suction that removes wax over time.

  • Nope. The wax is always "earwax color" no matter what color the ear candle is.

Plus you can feel the difference in your ears after. You've obviously never tried it.

  • "Now you've said my name. I don't want to be on youtube!"
