I agree with all the points you've made. Interesting to note that crime; in particular, violence against the person, was clearly evident in the days prior to computer gaming. I wonder what posessed them to commit crime all those years ago? 8-)

Have to say I agree with you, also I don't like the mindless persecution of a medium through ignorance (as you stated) also I played many violent games I managed to sneak into the house when I was younger and I'm a very passive person who did well in school. If anything I gained many new interests such as Roman history (from rome total war), ancient Egypt (tomb raider) and Final Fantasy 7's great soundtrack generated an interest in music. The truth is humans have always been prone to violence
